So what's the deal with Hardee's the last 5 years or so? They make these commercials that are just horrible....i mean, isn't the point of advertising to actually persuade viewers, readers or listeners to take some action or show some interest in a product? Then why in the world would I, or anyone for that matter, be willing to eat anything from Hardee's after watching any of their numerous commercials?
Okay, so if you can't remember one of the commercials, or the picture of the 2500 calorie, chili-cheeseburger above doesn't ring a bell, here's what I'm talking about. It seems that Hardee's is hell-bent on pissing me off and that's because I can't stand it when directors purposely place microphones as close to the actors mouths as possible, so that we are 'treated' to the delightful sound of smacking and chewing and swallowing. Ummmmmmm........delicious! Not to mention at the very end of every single ad, they end up dropping the product into camera view, allowing for us to see all the fat and whatnot dripping down off of the food.
I mean, I enjoy chili and cheese and fries and tots.....just not all mixed up together. Which reminds me....remember the famous mixed bowls from KFC? Don't get me started on KFC (once Kt ordered mashed potatoes from the drive-thru and they didn't even give her a fork!) I think Patton sums it up best!

Point being....if Hardee's wants me to eat their food, stop making terrible commercials that contain horrendous smacking noise and stop dropping your food from the sky at the end of the ad.
